Just the other night, a friend of mine took his elementalist and I took my mesmer into Sorrow's Furnace with just Hero's.

Whenever I team up with this guy, it always seems he gets all the purple and gold drops and all I ever get is yet another "Raven Staff". It's just not funny how many damn Raven Staff's I get. And my guildie's all know this, because it happens all the freaking time.

So we start out and we're taking out the bosses at the start and sure enough, he gets "Flint's Fleshcleaver" to drop for him and what's that over there for me: Yep, I get another blue "Raven Staff". whoopie..

So I'm bitching on TS yet again about my crummy luck, when we take down the Mesmer boss, and unbelieavable "Gorrel's Cane" drops for me. Within 5 minutes of starting, 2 greens drop. NICE!

I'm mostly Dom, but I'll take my first Mesmer green drop. Now to find a good off hand to got with it. (Right now I have a Charr gold focus from the BMP, that's ok, but doesn't go with the cane at all.)

I got a gold Chaos axe r 9 perfect mods in fow 2 man run last night, and 5 ob shards. I felt bad, cause my mate only got 1 shard and a few crappy purples. I gave him 10k for his efforts. Gotta love having an alt acc for when a net bans ur main.

So I had helped a pug with Master's Burden, Mayhem, Vizunah, Oracle and Naphui. When we got to Senji's and broke up, I asked the MM if he wanted to go cap Golem. On the way there, HE gets Miilfaun's Belief. lol

I told him I'd been trying to get that for 1 1/2 years (not actively, just hoping it would drop everytime I passed that way) and he offered to give me it. Of course, I said no - I've got so much crap as it is, I've been giving away Brightclaws, Benedictions and Putrescences from my Lutgardis farms just to make room - but very nice of him to offer.

Oh, wait - totally forgot that I got Chan's Greed during Mayhem. lol

During Blood Washes Blood, while killing the mob by the northern Siege Devourer, the boss dropped The Trickster

(I didn't think greens dropped during main quests)

the best drop i ever got was a double from a grawl boss in witmans folly. to my surprise it dropped 5 items the 2 golds were crappy wands but ya still was like sweet. also i have a theory they just have a list of generic items and as people get kills they drop the items for them. although that makes no sense i like to think its true since one time i got 3 longswords in a row all req 11 and all purple with random mods which also makes sense but ya. if u get a few kills really fast solo you may seem some replicas. another instance which was way sweeter was when i got my 2 firery bladed axes from some random insects on noob island hm. both req 13 gold and crappy mods >.<.

edit: also i got 4 black dyes in 1 week!!! which brings my total for 2 and a half years to 5 lol

I always thought that, too, but while helping a PUG on Arborstone the 1st boss (happened to be the ranger that spawned that time) dropped his bow for me. Ryver's Shortbow(?), I think.

It was December 2nd and I was capping the elite skill Focused Anger on my Elementalist (for Legendary Skill Hunter) when I got the green drop Wandalz's Refuge. The next day, I was capping "It's just a flesh wound." and around the same time I got the first green, I got Churkeh's Defiance.

Nothing comes close to that for me.

not recent, but i once got dropped a max q9 tyrian chaos axe w/ 15/50. that was a good day, I got my ele FoW soon after
